I purchased these lights to replace traditional plugin lighting for christmas decorations around my house. The quality is to be expected at the price point, but that is not to say they are junk. They are small lights, with a small battery, but lasted all season with hours of use. The light are not bright enough to light up a room, but add that decoration accent like we were looking for. They are easy wrap around sticks and other plastic decorations and turn on and off with a small black switch. We also placed some in a hurricane candle and it made a very nice decoration. Much nicer look and easier to setup and remove then traditional plugin lighting. I would recommend this product and will be purchasing more next season to expand.

have purchased this product! The string LED lights each have a flat
power pack that contains button batteries with an on/off switch. The
lights are bright and the wire they are attached to is sturdy and can be
used in a variety of ways. I wanted something to light up a rather
large palm tree in my dining room. By wrapping three sets of lights
around the trunk and easily hiding the power pack in the back of the
tree, it adds a very pretty interest in the room without looking
"Christmassy". The three remaining strands, I put into various glass
containers with other fillers here and there. I can see myself using
this outside in the summertime in a variety of ways - you're only as
limited as your imagination!!!!!
